Fahmi ICHAOUI, Chief Administrator and Head of the Financial Affairs at the Technical Center for Organic Agriculture.

As part of the project « Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa, KHNA », I occupy the position of « Financial Manager ».

I am responsible for establishing an accounting system and an efficient budget preparation and monitoring system allowing the control of the use of funds.

Haythem EL-OUAER, Agricultural engineer in Rural Economy specialized in “Development and Agricultural Policy”. I have also a Research Master’s degree in “Sustainable Agriculture”. I work for the Technical Center for Organic Agriculture in Tunisia (CTAB, Sousse) and I hold the position of “Head of Technical and Economic Studies Department”.

As part of the project “Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa - KHNA”, I occupy the position of Agricultural Engineer. My main role is to coordinate with the other members of the "KHNA" project team within the CTAB in the various planning and programming activities. My mission is also the efficient contribution in the execution and the assessment of the planned actions.

Our vision in this project is to integrate organic and ecological farming into national agricultural systems for a better quality of life and environment, and to coordinate, network and create partnerships between the different actors of the organic sector in North Africa and in Africa in general.

Khadouja TRABELSI, Administrator in Chief and Head of Administrative Affairs at the Technical Center for Organic Agriculture (CTAB).

I am responsible for supervising the administrative affairs department which in turn consists of four offices, also responsible for scheduling internships and preparing the program annual trainings for center staff.

As part of the Project “Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa, KHNA”, I occupy the position of “Administrative Services Manager”.

My main role is to supervise administrative activities and to maintain the facilities of the realization of all the planned actions in the project.

Faten KSOURI MANSOUR, General Engineer in rural economy, having a Master in Agricultural Economics from the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT). Currently, I am an Assistant Director of Economic Studies at the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture (CTAB). I am responsible for Economic studies, marketing, managing database and following organic crop market.

As part of the project "Knowledge hub of Organic Agriculture in North Africa KHNA", I occupy the position of agricultural engineer. My mission is to follow and coordinate with the technical staff of the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture and the committee of the KHNA project in the programmation and implementation of the intervention program.

My vision in this project is to establish links between the different actors involved in the sector in order to exchange information and experiences to promote and develop the organic farming sector in North Africa and in Africa in general, and to create a multidisciplinary core between them and ensure its sustainability.

Ines AMAMOU, Agricultural Engineer and holder of a Research Master's degree in "Management of Natural Ecosystems and Valorization of their Resources". I occupy the position of Networking Manager in the project "Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa, KHNA" within the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture (CTAB).

I am responsible for coordination among key stakeholders in the value chains of the organic agricultural sector in the three North African countries concerned by the project (Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt) and facilitating their networking.

My tasks include the elaboration of a networking strategy for the sector in Tunisia, the planning and implementation of sector fora and events, and facilitating the development of, and access to markets by operators and consumers.

What I particularly like about the project, is that it offers me the opportunity to be part of a highly motivated and professional team embracing the same vision and common values. The methodological approach is in essence of a participatory and inclusive nature, which insures actors’ engagement at a large scale, from local to continental levels, and beyond.
