Ines AMAMOU, Agricultural Engineer and holder of a Research Master's degree in "Management of Natural Ecosystems and Valorization of their Resources". I occupy the position of Networking Manager in the project "Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa, KHNA" within the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture (CTAB).
I am responsible for coordination among key stakeholders in the value chains of the organic agricultural sector in the three North African countries concerned by the project (Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt) and facilitating their networking.
My tasks include the elaboration of a networking strategy for the sector in Tunisia, the planning and implementation of sector fora and events, and facilitating the development of, and access to markets by operators and consumers.
What I particularly like about the project, is that it offers me the opportunity to be part of a highly motivated and professional team embracing the same vision and common values. The methodological approach is in essence of a participatory and inclusive nature, which insures actors’ engagement at a large scale, from local to continental levels, and beyond.
